Adelaide Oval entry rules: current facts and RWC unknowns
Use the normal venue rules to pack conservatively, but do not mistake them for the final tournament conditions of entry.
The short version
Three planning decisions
- Current bags must be small enough to fit under a seat.
- The venue may search people and belongings and refuse entry if a search is declined.
- RWC-specific bag measurements, ticket workflow and re-entry rules are not published.
The safest packing baseline
Adelaide Oval’s current conditions prohibit bags or containers too large to fit beneath a seat. They also list restricted items including alcohol, flares, weapons, hard eskies, certain camera equipment, oversized signs and flags, and flag poles over one metre.
Umbrellas may currently be brought in but cannot be raised during activity on the arena or stage. Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside the venue.
What must be checked again
Those operational details can materially change an arrival plan. Recheck the event listing and ticket-holder communication rather than relying on a screenshot of this article.
- RWC bag dimensions and prohibited-item list
- mobile-ticket and identity requirements
- gate-opening and recommended arrival times
- food, drink, medication and power-bank rules
- pass-out and re-entry policy
