Public accounts of leaving Stadium Australia after big concert nights range from a severe city-bound train queue to nearly two hours between the exit and Redfern, with the result depending on the gate and the route chosen rather than the distance.
Where fans disagree
- A 2024 Coldplay attendee's vlog describes an easier-than-expected arrival on pre-booked parking, and one Oasis group post reports sharply different outcomes for an early park-up versus a late gate exit and a rideshare after a long walk.
- Every account is a concert night at a normal-operation venue, so none of it forecasts the tournament's transport plan or its exit arrangements.
Use it like this: Fix the exit gate, the route and a meeting point before full time, keep a late-night buffer, and treat these concert-night results as reasons to plan rather than as expectations.
